Here are two of four of the spreads from my "After Dark" design. These aren't from the final version, but they are pretty close to it. The awkward spacing issues were resolved with more diversity of type and by using little tags for the reader to identify the story.

I LOVE the way you added those flags-type elements under each title, it's a great visual and really ties the whole piece together. I think this features turned out really awesome, great job!
ReplyDeleteI love the arrow/flag addition to this design as I don't remember seeing them in your draft. I think it was a great way to incorporate color, direction and a consistent pattern in the feature pages!
