Garrett Hedlund was featured on the cover of Details for their February issue. They used some variation in the types of photos (detail, profile, etc.), and they went with an "On the Road" theme. I like the vertical pull quotes and the Flashdance-esque pose on the last page.

ReplyDeleteI really like this spread because Garrett is an actor I really like, "Friday Night Lights" was a great movie, in my opinion. But I have to agree with you, this spread was done very well and I like the photos they chose to use. It's nice when they paired the full page of text with a full picture, especially the one they did. It's nice that they chose a photo looking onto the page with text. It draws the readers focus and their use of subtle color was a great addition. Thanks for sharing.

Can I just say that I have been STARING at these spreads for days? They are just so well done. Excellent photography, simple design, and great details all come together for this. I really like the opening spread and the typography chosen for it. Everything just connects together so well. Not to mention Garrett is one good looking man, mmm.
